Owner Will Consider Trade for a smaller Island Packet!
Ever wish you could turn back the clock to the days when a new 42-foot Island Packet could be bought for under $400,000? Now you can! "All That Jazz" has been lovingly maintained and very lightly used on a fresh water lake in Georgia. Now, she has been moved to Florida to sell and is being stored on land so she still has never touched saltwater. "All That Jazz" has less use and lower hours than most new 'boat show' boats! This is an extremely rare opportunity to own one of Island Packet's most popular models at tens of thousands of dollars under new boat pricing. Before you buy, new or used, do yourself a favor and see this beautiful Island Packet 420. Then, you will agree that "All That Jazz" is truly better than new!
Call today and schedule a time to come see for yourself.
YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Accommodations
The forward owner's stateroom has a generously sized island berth with custom innerspring mattress that is offset from the hull, providing easy access from both sides. The aft section of the berth-top, mounted on gas support struts, lifts to reveal a large "blanket chest". Drawers, cabinets, storage bins and a deep hanging locker provide ample space for personal gear. A dressing seat adds further convenience and a special touch. Two overhead hatches, a dorade vent and several opening ports will keep this cabin light and well ventilated.
The private forward head adjoining the master stateroom is large and luxurious. Accessed from the forward end of the master stateroom, it features a sink vanity with cabinets above and below, a deep polished oval stainless steel sink, an overhead hatch, opening ports, medicine chest, plus several lockers and two deep drawers. Extra counter space provides "captain's chair" seating for the toilet, and a separate stall shower enclosure is fitted with a folding acrylic door and built-in seat.
The spacious central salon area is equally suited for social gatherings, off-watch retreats, or gourmet dining. The hinged table may be secured against the bulkhead mounted bottle and glass rack or easily lowered to make a large dining area. An exceptional amount of interior stowage is available in the salon, as elsewhere in the yacht, due in large part to the generous tankage being centrally located below the cabin sole. The starboard settee pulls out to provide a double berth. Beautiful handcrafted cabinetry and joinerwork throughout the yacht in select, varnished teak, premium beige colored UltraLeather over dual density 5" cushions, well-placed light fixtures and handrails, numerous opening ports, dorade deck vents and hatches, and durable and easily maintained overhead and hull surfaces make this salon and the entire interior attractive, comfortable and practical.
The navigation table with an electrically powered swingout seat should please the most ardent navigator, and includes the recessed master electrical panel. A storage tray is provided under the large hinged tabletop, with a locker under and outboard of the table and a chart drawer under the settee immediately forward.
The galley, immediately to the starboard side of the companionway, is easily accessible to the cockpit and the main salon, and features numerous convenience details for the cruising sailor. A generous wrap around counter provides ample work space for food preparation while numerous drawers, lockers and laminate-lined cabinets offer abundant space for provisioning and kitchenware storage. It features a three burner LPG stove and oven, along with a standard (AC) microwave oven, deep polished stainless steel sinks, overhead light and a slide out trash receptacle. The well insulated refrigerator/freezer features a double gasketed push button lid that opens on a gas strut to reveal a divided compartment.
The aft cabin has private access from the companionway area. It features a big Pullman-style athwartship bunk, a large cedar lined hanging locker and a generous bureau with several compartments. Two opening ports and an overhead hatch bathe the area in natural light and provide excellent ventilation.
Entered from either the main salon or through a private door in the aft cabin, the aft head, with its folding teak shower seat, wrap round vanity, oval polished sink, teak framed mirror, and bulkhead mounted shower unit with a pull around curtain provide particularly nice facilities for guests and crew. Custom teak grates add a special touch in both heads. Both have an electric drain pump discharging overboard, with sole drains configured to work at rest or under sail.
