Deck
You can tell right away that this vessel is built for extended crusing. Her Awl Grip Flag Blue hull has recently been buffed and waxed and the bottom has recently been painted. The wide ide decks and Portugueses bridge will keep everyone aboard safely aboard and secure when handling lines. There are twin 50A shore poer cords at the bow and stern/ THe lowering transom allows you to easily launch the dinghy. Having the dinghy here frees up the outdoor space behind the command bridgr providing a great lving spce. The fuel fills are up off the deck on either side of the house and you can fill her 1200 gallon tank from either side.
On deck you can see that the teak planks do not have bung holes hiding screws, becasue there are no screws the are epoxied in place. You can tell that the deck us molded as on piece because there are no seams from the transom to the bow, including the Portuguese bridge. The windshields and side windows are tinted and laminated with a layer of 3M Hurricane shield to a total thickness of 11mm, twice what most builders use in vessels below 100'.

Engine Room
If you are not familiar with Lugger engines, they are the diesel side of Northern Lights generator. These engines are the work horse of commerical vessels all over the world including many fishing vessels in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. They are slower truning that the Caterpillar or MAN competitors and are relatively simple motors. This is the perfect chioce for the owner operator who prefers to do some of the maintenance himself. You don't need a laptop or special software to work on these motors! The engine room is spotless. The Northen Lights generators are in sounf shields making them very quiet.
Most professional captains tell us that we have the best engine room they have ever ebeen in on a vessel of this size. You can get to everything quickly and safely with 6'2" head room. The area is well lit with 110V and 24V lightinh. There are 110V and 24V blowers to cool the space down after a run and the area is air conditioned so maintenance can be done in comfort. There is a large mirror on each side of the engine room, angled perfectly so you can inspect the outboard side of the engine without going outboard. Each diesel engine has duel Raycor filters. The fuel ssystem is very simple with 2 large tanksthat are usually set up as one (1200 gallons total) with the crossover open. The engine beds are very heavy polished stainless teel and secure the engine vibration isolation mounts to the hull stringers and run all the way past the transmissions to accept the thrust load of the Aquadrive units. The dripless shaft seals have a crossover tube that supplies water fomr both engines so you can safely run on one engine. There are two 20kW Northern Lights generators in custom clear Lexan sould shields/
Just forward of the engines in the center of the room is a Sea Chest with removable clear cleaning port. Each of the engines, generators, air-conditioning, washdown and all the other components of the yacht that require salt water have their own shut-off valve on the sea chest. One hull opening for all sea water needs provides great safety. The 700hp Lugger engines are conntected ti the underwater exhaust system vua high temperature silicone house to further isolate maoise and vibration.
